A trusted and longstanding Private Banking client in Geneva is looking for a Junior Private Banking Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the Swiss private banking sector whilst working with seasoned professionals and maintaining UHNW client contact. This position would involve a high level of client contact and your ability to build relationships effectively will be appreciated.
This would be a temporary opportunity for 6 months with an extension possible and a start date as soon as possible.
The position offers a broad scope of tasks related to:
• Support Senior Private Bankers by providing performance data and maintain client information
• Provide day to day support to Banker on documentation such as account opening and closing, loan disbursals, etc.
• Liaising with and assisting UHNW clients with their questions/requests
• Client/prospect meetings - Organize the pre-call planning, organizing post-meeting notes, and maintain all client call records including call reports
• Ensure appropriate documentation related to KYC/ AML from the client and ensure all aspects of client records and documentation are completed and updated
• Scanning of documentation (physical mail, account opening docs, etc)
Your Profile:
• Prior experience in the banking / financial services industry, ideally around 1 year; internship experience is considered as well
• Basic understanding of banking products and/or compliance regulations would be a strong asset
• Ability to manage demands from several sources, working to tight deadlines, multitasking
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and similarly at all levels on the client side
• Full fluency in English
