Swisslinx is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our client in the Bern area. As global Pharmaceuticals player, our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will be supported by a team of maintenance technicians at their manufacturing site in the Bern area and will be part fo an on-call team in the case or an emergency/breakdowns.

Your mission

- Support the project and its development in completing construction and entering validation
- Support the management of a team of technicians tasks electrical and maximise uptime of equipment
- Develop SOPs
- Ensure the team receive work instructions and trainings
- Maintain and build relationships with Swiss regulatory organizations
- Implement safety policies and continue to create a culture of high safety standards
- Collaborate and build relationships with other departments

Your profile

- Electrical engineering background paired with at least 5 years experience gained in a regulated environment (pharmaceuticals, chemicals or food)
- Excellent knowledge of electrical maintenance, metrology/instrumentation, electrical installation etc
- Adaptable and proactive personality with a willingness to be challenged and learn new concepts on the job
- Knowledge with Swiss standards and legislation
- Permitted to manage high-voltage and low-voltage systems, including emergency power systems, UKV systems, process systems for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
- Fluency in English is essential, German would be an advantageous
