An International Operating Company are seeking a Gas Plant Manager to join their operations in Iraq. The Gas Plant Manager will form part of the senior leadership team in country. This is a permanent staff position, reporting to the Operations Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Management of all daily gas plant operations including production and maintenance.
• Develops and maintains procedures to ensure all work is carried out safely in alignment with international standards and in compliance with company policies.
• Introduces initiatives to safely increase production within budget and operational constraints.
• Responsible for creating the budget for plant operations and related activities.
• Responsible for ensuring all field employees are provided with competency training and development on new operating procedures and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing highly nationalised teams in remote locations. Front line operations experience is required.
