As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced and passionate SCRUM Master with the ability to think out of the box to work on a large digitalization project in Zurich.
This is a rolling contract starting no later than January 2021, with a strong chance of extension (up to two years) or even internalization.
As the SCRUM Master you will join a project enhancing and maintenance of the key advisory systems in the bank globally and be responsible for the following:
• You have the possibility to support and coach your team to improve engineering skills such as refactoring, test automation, test-driven development and continuous delivery. In addition, you train the Product Owner to maximize value delivery.
• You will closely collaborate with the Scrum team, migration architect, reconciliation lead and with IT partners and business owners in the context of the overall Program
• You cooperate with department heads to pragmatically move the organization forward without losing the goal of perfection
• Also, you will work with other Scrum Masters in the area and organization to promote our Scrum adoption and move the organization towards becoming more flexible and value focused
• You are responsible to bring teams closer to the customers and end-users. This helps you to foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, respect, courage and trust.
This team manages a complex application landscape including professional investment portfolio construction tools and mobile applications used during client meetings. They also leverage modern portfolio optimization techniques to automate parts of the investment advice and offer a rich set of analyses to evaluate the investments of our clients.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you will possess the following skills:
• You have more than 3 years of experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach (preferably joined a coaching program such as coactive coaching)
• You possess at least 3 years of experience with Scrum and software development and you are a regular contributor to open source
• You feel comfortable to coach technical practices and have a good understanding of the financial services domain
• You can facilitate large group discussions and events (sessions such as Open Space and World Café)
• You are outgoing, enjoy working in a team and have a sense of humor
• Excellent communication skills in English
Sadly we can only consider candidates already based in Switzerland due to COVID.
The team is currently split between WFH and office right now, currently planned until Feb 2021 and possibly longer. Post COVID occasional home office will be permitted.
