About the client

In this role, you will strengthen the Packaging Engineering team by supporting PPWR compliance activities, packaging data management, portfolio screening, and the coordination of cross-functional packaging projects. You will work closely with Packaging Development, SPS, Biologicals, F&P and Testing teams to ensure the compliant implementation of packaging-related requirements.

Job description

  • Lead and coordinate packaging engineering activities, including PPWR compliance, packaging data management, portfolio screening and cross-functional project execution.
  • Develop and execute packaging qualification protocols, oversee qualification studies, and support packaging design and fill & pack activities.
  • Maintain and manage packaging master data throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring data quality, compliance and continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to deliver innovative and compliant packaging solutions while supporting operational excellence initiatives.
  • Coordinate project timelines, monitor milestones, manage budgets and supplier activities, and proactively identify and resolve project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards while performing packaging quality checks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. 

Requirements

  • 📦 3–5 years of experience in Packaging Engineering
  • 📊 Strong experience with packaging data management and documentation
  • 🤝 Proven project coordination and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • 🔄 Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining a clear overview
  • 🌱 Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, chemicals, agrochemicals, manufacturing, or another regulated industry is highly desirable
