On behalf of our client, a technology-driven global leader in online trading, Swisslinx is looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join their team in Frankfurt as a Head of Operational Risk.

Your Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain the local risk strategy
- Provide support, advice and reporting for the senior management on risk related matters
- Lead the continued development of the local risk department through the areas of governance, team development and technical awareness
- Oversee and develop the key functions of the Risk department to ensure they are in line with regulatory requirements and market standards, including:
Production and review of the ICAAP
Oversee and review stress testing
Develop and prepare proposals for the Management Board regarding the local risk appetite
Regulatory capital management and compliance with the rules
- Manage the local Risk Control department including drafting Risk Control policies and procedures and overseeing the division of responsibilities locally

Your Background:

- Advanced education from a reputable university
- Experience implementing or coordinating operational risk management and / or enterprise risk management within financial services
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining local risk strategies
- Solid understanding of risk management, in particular 1st and 2nd line of defense. Knowledge of the 3LOD model for enterprise risk management an advantage
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent German and English skills particularly for policy documentation
