As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a motivated Lead Cloud Developer with a solid SW programming background and experience with Azure to support an innovative Azure migration project and set up the entire platform from scratch.
This is a rolling 6 months contract starting ASAP, with a strong chance of extension (up to two years) or even internalization.
In this role you will join a digitalization project with the aim of defining and delivering a new Target Operating model, with an ERP system as its core, with significantly increased data ownership & governance across the Cloud platform (Azure), with increased operational efficiency & user/client satisfaction.
As part of a small cross functional team of 10 you will be responsible for setting up an entire platform on MS Azure comprising multiple PaaS and SaaS apps.
Responsibilities will principally be the following:
• As Senior Developer within the Global Real Estate Technology Team, you will be responsible to further define, and implement the new Digitalisation Program, impacting all areas of the business.
• You will enable and implement the entire platform migration to Microsoft Azure Public Cloud alongside your Global Real Estate Technology and Business colleagues.
• You will contribute to further define innovation and the digital transformation of CSAM, including topics like cloud computing, the API economy and data streaming
• You will be a hands on senior developer including solution engineering, design and architecture of all the existing and new IT applications focusing on presentation, data, integration and other pillars.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you will possess the following skills:
• 5+ years in Development (e.g. Java/C#/PowerShell/Nodejs/react/Azure CLI etc)
• 2 years in architecture and/or delivery role
• Substantial experience in working with data (RDBMS, Data Modelling, NoSQL, PL/SQL)
• Substantial experience in MS Azure (Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Platform, Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions, D365, Azure Functions, Azure SQL DB, Azure App Service, etc.)
• Substantial experience in Devops, DevSecops (Ci/CD)
• You have proven knowledge and experience with modern technologies, including but not limited to the public cloud, containers, micro-services, APIs and data platforms
• Ideally experience in the banking industry
• Fluency in English
Please note due to COVID interviews would be conducted remotely, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. The team is currently split between WFH and office right now. Post COVID occasional home office will be permitted.
