Swisslinx is current supporting a trusted Life Sciences client in securing two Buyers to join their Procurement team.
The positions can be done predominantly off-site with some on-site visits. This is a temporary contract for 1 year with the possibility of extension. Both English and German skills are required for these roles.
Lead Buyer CAPEX
Your Mission
- Develop purchasing strategy and coordinate purchasing (equipment/spare parts and engineering/consulting services) for investment projects
- Prepare and maintain frame agreements, vendor management and evaluation of new vendors and suppliers
- Prepare and implement LifeCycleCost plans and reducing costs were possible
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the management meetings
Your background
- 7+ years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement within plant construction/engineering/ CAPEX projects
- Ideally engineering education background
-Proactive, analytical and problem solving attitude
Operational Buyer – Indirect
Your Mission
- Support purchasing activities of indirect goods and services
- Collaborate with accounting departments to resolve invoicing issues
- Initiate Purchase orders and order confirmations
- Track vendor performance and negotiate where necessary
Your background
- Relevant educational background
- 5+ year sin indirect/operational purchasing
- Experience with SAP/Ariba
