As a successful candidate you will act as a bridge between IT (various departments) and the business functions on site. In addition, you will ensure all projects are managed well, from the perspective of people management, quality, timelines, budgets and security.
About our client
Our client is a fast growing company based in Basel. On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Senior IT Service Lead for a permanent or temporary contract opportunity.
Key Competencies
- You will be in charge of all IT services on site ensuring constant quality and optimisation
- You will gather input on site specific requirements and organise service to be adjusted accordingly
- You will make sure IT service SLAs meet site requirements
- Ensure that teams and employees follow the established IT processes and comply with IT policies
- Plan and coordinate the demand for all IT and OT services
- Plan and periodically test technical disaster recovery for the site
- You will be in charge of the Infrastructure Life Cycle Management
Your background
- 5-10 years of IT Infrastructure Leadership or IT Service Delivery experience, ideally leading the whole site in a similar role
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, cooperate with and provide support to C Level business partners
- Hands on experience with leading an onsite team and offshore team
- Flexibility to adapt and passion to drive new initiatives
- Solid professional experience working with external 3rd party service providers
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Working knowledge of IT architecture, IT security, ITIL and IT governance
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
