A leading global American Investment Bank are looking to strengthen their team based in Frankfurt with the additions of professionals across the Associate and VP levels, supporting corporate finance transactions within multiple sectors. The Associate / VP will contribute across all phases of deal execution and a broad range of varying M&A transaction across the buy and sell side.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out company and financial analyses, including valuations
- Conduct market, industry and company research
- Prepare marketing documents and pitches
- Prepare information memorandums, teasers, management presentations, identifying potential buyers universe or acquisition targets
- Interact with senior bankers as well as clients' senior executives
- Participate in new business meetings
- Facilitate the due diligence phase and transaction closing
- Lead or implement initiatives focused on growing the firm’s franchise value
- Pursue the opportunity to either specialise in a sector or build experience across a wide reach of sectors
- Contribute to sell and buy side transactions, capital raises as well as debt advisory projects
Qualifications:
- A self-starting mentality, drive for achievement and personal growth, proven by success not only in an academic or professional setting (high achievers in sports, music and entrepreneurship suit our team very well and are in good company)
- Fluency in Accounting and Corporate Finance coupled with a strong Business Acumen
- Confidence, strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, desire to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- 3 to 7 years of sell- and buy-side M&A experience
- Team player mindset
- Excellent analytical skills
- Flexibility, reliability and stamina
- An excellent command of German and English, any other European languages welcome
