As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer with strong knowledge of Process and Design Thinking ideologies and experience dealing with User Interface & User Design topics to work on a large digitalization project in Zurich.
This is a rolling contract starting ASAP, with a strong chance of extension (up to two years) or even internalization.
Working in an international team made up of 7+ squads covering locations, you will join a business critical digitalization project with the aim of developing and continuously improving of case management solutions as part of the ongoing transformation of the bank’s compliance and risk department.
Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate requirements gathering for User Interface & User Design
• Collaborate with the users and stakeholders to discuss product requirements and validate the roadmap.
• Work closely with the Product Owners and partner with the developers on daily basis to manage and deliver the requirements.
• Work with POs on defining the concepts, and define the design timelines considering the project scale.
• Engage with senior management, end-users, UX/UI designers, IT, Front
• Lead the creative decisions on your projects across all dimensions. He/she must ensure the quality of the work that is delivered.
• Design visual concepts based on the requirements defined and gathered by the POs.
• Validate your designs/ wireframes with the users via User testing sessions and gather the observations.
• Analyze and implement them in pixel perfect design mockups and share them with the developers
Due to regulatory pressure, our client offers a fast paced environment with high pressure and the opportunity to help evolve a tool with high management visibility.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you are passionate about working as a Product Owner and will possess the following skills:
• In depth experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer working full stack
• Solid understanding of product ownership, agile and scrum principles
• Strong hand-on knowledge of Design and process thinking ideologies and should have experience of working in Agile environment.
• Knowledge of tools like Sketch, Invision, Balsamiq is a must.
• Storytelling skills to explain technology clearly to non-technical users
• Ability to quickly understand complex processes and requirements and summarize to be understood by senior management including relevant presentation skills (preparation & communication)
• Able to visualize great ideas that can engage and inspire of users/stakeholders. Design mood boards, concept sketches, design high and low fidelity mock-ups, and develop prototypes.
• Experience in the banking industry or compliance domain within the financial industry is an advantage
• A very professional, diligent and can-do attitude with experience in managing and communicating with stakeholders
• Superb communication skills in English, German is an asset
Please note due to COVID interviews would be conducted remotely, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. The team is currently split between WFH and office right now. Post COVID occasional home office will be permitted.
