On behalf of our client, a multinational manufacturer and distributer of B2B industrial machinery / equipment, Swisslinx is seeking a Supply Chain & Manufacturing Expert.
Your Mission:
- Work closely with R&D and offer technical / product innovation support through product, process and, supplier optimization
- Influence across the full product life cycle - from design to launch
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance cost saving intitiatives, as well as assess technical suitability
- Carry out supplier audits, vendor selection and ad hoc tasks
Your Background:
- University level degree in Engineering
- Relevant experience in supply chain / manufacturing, with an understanding of design for manufacturing
- Experience in a related category - machinery, technology, or industry in general
- Excellent German and English language skills
