On behalf of our client, a reputable and multinational energy company, Swisslinx is searching for an Accountant & Administrative Assistant to join their team in Zug – on a part-time basis (40%).
This role will mainly focus on accounting and controlling tasks, as well as some administration. Please note that home office is an option, after the initial first 6 months.
- Responsible for financial reporting, applying SWISS GAAP and IFRS
- Carry out budgeting and forecasting, as well as the bookkeeping, cash management and processing invoices
- Interacting with internal departments and external entities, such as advisors, auditors, banks, tax and social security bodies
- Be involved with ad-hoc tasks
- Support external audit of financial statements
- Preparation if Withholding Tax and VAT declarations, assist in income tax declarations
- Additional administrative tasks as needed
- At least 5 years of experience working in controlling/accounting, or related roles
- Knowledge of the Swiss Tax system
- Experience with IFRS and SWISS GAAP
- Strong experience carrying out bookkeeping, budgeting and forecasting
- Proficient Excel user and experience with ABACUS is a plus
- Fluent in German and English
