As the premier supplier to our client, an international bank with headquarters in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Business Analyst with 5+ years experience working in the banking domain to help deliver IRRBB requirements.

This is a 6 month contract starting no later than April 2021, with strong chance of extension up to two years (plus internalization).

As the successful candidate you will join a high profile regulatory compliance project for IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) and would report to the program manager. The program is part of the Risk Change portfolio, but the business sponsors are Global ALM & Treasury Risk.
The Business Analyst needs to proactively drive topics and bring people from the different teams together. This means that next to analytical skills and good knowledge of IT and processes, the contractor needs to be outgoing and not shy away to contact people in different departments of the bank.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Analysis of new requirements for IRRBB and the Treasury Risk Framework, writing BRDs and getting sign-off
• Continuous tracking of the strategic items that are planned for implementation.
• Participation in the daily production calls
• Prepare and lead the CCRB (Change Control Review Board) (weekly and monthly meetings)
• Review of the production process to assess where it can be further improved (data feeds, workflow tool, testing, etc.)

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

• At least 5 years of experience within banking industry (ideally within Treasury Risk or AML Functions)
• Strong Business Analyst experience
• Good IT know-how (architecture, data feeds, testing cycles, etc.) and understanding of processes
• Attention to detail, clear in communication and writing, well-structure
• You have strong analytical skills with ability to work under time pressure
• Excellent spoken and written English; German is a plus

Please note due to COVID interviews would be conducted remotely, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. The team is currently working for home during the pandemic and 2-3 days home office will be offered post COVID.
