Business Development Associate – Dubai, UAE

On behalf of our client, a global Asset Manager located in Dubai DIFC, Swisslinx Middle East is looking for a Business Development Associate. The role focuses on business development support and its’ main objective is to support the Head of Sales for the region. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing meetings and follow-up after meetings

• Conducting analysis and market research on new prospects and market segments

• Liaison with portfolio managers and/or product managers and performance specialists on investment related requests from investors

• Preparing material in response to prospect’s inquiries

• Collaborate closely with RFP team on any questionnaires and data requests 

• Salesforce guardian, maintaining the database, running reports 

• Attend prospect meetings occasionally along with Sales Heads 

• Attend marketing events frequently

• Closely collaborate with Marketing on any PR, Roadshow and Events

• Providing monthly reporting to existing investors

• Maintain client spreadsheets with respective information on characteristics of mandates

• Planning of client/prospect onsite visits 

• Closely collaborating with compliance on any material that is provided to the various regions

Your background:

• Must have experience within a global Asset Manager

• Proven experience with Business Development/Sales & Marketing

• Strong expertise with Salesforce

• Ability to manage challenging situations and tight deadlines
