Commercial IT Project Manager


For our client, a Medical Devices company with offices in Zug, Swisslinx are searching for a highly motivated Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
 

Responsibilities:
•Leads and drives change via business transformation and digital transformation
•The programs span across a wide range of both commercial and product changes including setting up a new commercial office in country, customer loyalty program, pricing and incentives, retail strategy and retail facility rollout, commercial launch of software and equipment. 
•Lead x-functional team across sales, marketing, operations, legal, compliance, regulatory, IT and manufacturing to deliver end to end changes across enterprise.
•Coordinate with global PMO team and functional team to ensure effective communications among global teams in North America, Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.
•Drives the program/project teams to get to scope and schedule baselines and tracks against these baselines to ensure successful delivery of the program/project
•Accountable for identifying all supporting projects that roll up to the program, and for creating a detailed product delivery plan that can be executed by the on time by the regions’ technology team
•Assists with developing the business and program scope and strategy and ensures program team understands the key success criteria for the overall program
•Identifies and acquires committed resources for the program/projects and gains commitment from these key resources/teams to be accountable for delivering on time and within scope
•Communicates major issues, scope changes, schedule changes, project risks and major decisions that impact the successful delivery of the program
•Laser focused on delivering to all committed milestones and holds the program/project team accountable for these commitments
•Carefully manages risk across the program/project throughout the product development life cycle to ensure product delivers to market on time and within scope
•Communicates regularly with program/project teams, peers, management and upper management to set expectations and remain in alignment with key stakeholders and the broader organization on the status of the program
•Keeps the program/project team organized and on track for effective implementation and delivery and implements process improvements where there are inefficiencies in the implementation process
•Builds capability within the program/project team to accomplish the program/project goals and deliver the product to market on time
•Creative, adaptive and flexible thinking to implement to a committed timeline when plans do not go as expected
•Follow up continuously to ensure cross functional program/project teams are delivering to their commitments


What you bring:

•Strong commercial experience and business acumen in delivering changes in sales, marketing and operations teams
•Strong technical and product experience in managing software releases, equipment launches
•Experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions would be a distinct advantage
•Experience with different methodologies, including Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, etc.
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
•5+ years of program/project management experience
•5+ years of experience delivering change programs across commercial and operation teams
•5+ years of digital and technology delivery experience
•Experience delivering commercial projects and technology projects
•Experience project managing medical device projects preferred
•SCRUM/PMP / PRINCE II certified a plus
•Demonstrated ability to deliver business results
•Expert ability to create structures and processes necessary to deliver new products to market
