Corporate Social Responsibility Manager

Swisslinx Middle East are
working with a multinational Operator in Iraq who are looking to
introduce a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to their team on a 28/28
rotation. 

Job Summary 

-  To oversee all field
based Social Responsibility activities supporting exploration, capital
projects, production operations and appraisal of projects. 

- To engage with host
communities and key stakeholders to secure support for activities and managing
social risk associated with the work program.
- Manage and lead field
implementation in all key areas of Social Responsibility including stakeholder
relations, social investment, impact assessment.  
-  Formulate a social
investment program which meets both business objectives and benefits the
neighboring
communities. 
-  To work closely with all
line management especially HSE and Asset Protection 

Responsibilities

- To develop the Social Responsibility Management
System 

- To Manage and Analyze the
economic baseline data and to integrate the findings into planning
activities
- Working closely with HSE and
Asset Protection in managing social impact assessment activities. 
- Manage the budget and forecast
for the future. 
- Demonstrate that human
rights issues and conflict are integrated into management plans.
- Manage the site based
contractors which interact with outside stakeholders. 
- Contribute to risk
assessments, HSE support and management planning. 
- Proactively manage the
training and development of social responsibility staff.

Required Knowledge 

- Degree qualified in social
sciences would be ideal but not mandatory 

- Over 8 years relevant
experience in similar job with social responsibility functions in locations
such as  Iraq and Africa  
- Exposure to technical
aspects of environmental, grievance management and social responsibility 
- Understanding of social
responsibility, Asset Protection and HSE within oil operations 
- Excellent Written and
communications skills, including report writing.

The ideal candidate will have
previously worked in locations where the community is challenging and
hostile. Iraq experience is preferred but not essential.
