On behalf of our client, a leading Swiss bank, Swisslinx are looking for a Data Analyst who specializes in regulatory reporting and liquidity management.
Responsibilities will include:
-Analyze and challenge the reporting data in the reporting and analytics database, investigate and check data integrity, challenge the calculation logics and reporting process
-Drive requirements definition and support IT implementation for the enhancements of regulatory reporting of Intraday Liquidity Monitoring Tools
-Work in close collaboration with IT and the Strategic work stream to define the target infrastructure design for the overall new strategic ILM infrastructure
-Cooperating with the respective businesses to improve the analytical capabilities of the reporting tool
-Review the underlying data from our reporting database, doing data integrity checks, investigations and analyses
-Conduct analysis meetings between Business, IT, Stakeholders and Management
-Maintain documentation for project deliverables
-Delivery of the corrected regulatory report to FINMA
-Drive requirement definition and support IT implementation for ILM
-Write BU requirement specifications
-Review, analyze and challenge current data sourcing strategy and reporting process
-Compile and analyze intraday information used for regulatory reporting process
-Closely collaborate with IT and strategic work stream to define target infrastructure design for new strategic ILM infrastructure
-Review underlying data from reporting data base, doing data integrity checks, investigations and analyses
-Design strategic solutions for regulatory reporting
The successful candidate will have:
-University degree in economics, quantitative finance or other scientific disciplines
-A minimum of three years of experience with payment processing or settlements in the bank.
-Strong skills with SQL and Microsoft Offices, and able to work with a large amount of numbers. Other programming languages like R and Python (Pandas and Numpy) and knowledge of Tableau are of advantage
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-An understanding of what it takes to ensure successful implementation of complex process and system enhancements
-The ability to juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously
