Our client is an international industrial group.
On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for a hands-on and experienced Financial Accountant to join their growing team in Zürich.
Your mission
- Full responsibility of the Accounting function (AP/AR/GL)
- Perform Cost Accounting
- Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings
- Improve and implement Accounting & Financial Control processes and systems
- Record and process invoices and bank payments
- Reconcile invoices, accounts, debtors and creditors
- Responsible for Swiss VAT & tax declarations with support from consultants as necessary
- Support auditing activities
Your background
- 3-5+ years of working experience in accounting in Switzerland,
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics,
- Experience with Swiss GAAP FER is required in addition experience in IFRS would be beneficial
- Construction, Infrastructure background would be preferred,
- Knowledge of Abacus accounting software and very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel) is beneficial,
- Independent, hands on working attitude
- Comfortable in an international multicultural environment
- Fluency in English and German,
- Currently based in Switzerland.
