On behalf of our client, a financial service provider, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced and motivated Frontend Developer for a permanent position in Zurich, Switzerland. Your main responsibility will be to develop visualisation-rich data-driven front-end web applications and use your skills and experience to advise on the application architecture, work on performance optimisation and will be required to share your feedback and enforce good practices in the area of user experience. Your profile:
- Comfortable with task management software like Jira or Trello.
- At least 3 years working experience in development on larger web applications representing and visualising big amount of data and analytics Experience in representation and visualization of data and analytics in web applications
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, Angular, Vue or similar, unit and end-to-end testing suites, live documentation tools etc.
- Solid understanding of modern web development concepts, interest in the latest trends and technologies, communications with backend on various protocols (REST, WS, GraphQL, etc.)
- Passion for User Interface and User Experience, basic knowledge of user centric design rules
- Know-how to set up development, testing and production environments
- Solid understanding of software development product lifecycle (JS testing, CI etc.), practices and tools
- Experience in development for mobile platforms and ability to provide UX assets is a plus
