On behalf of our client, a leading Swiss bank in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a Java Developer to deliver IT applications and tools.
This role will involve:
- collaborate with business to refine user requirements, with affinity to align and exchange
- implement features and solutions within the backend area focused on coding and DB integration
- provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new features and requirement to support and enhance our existing and to be newly built solution
- work within a small, highly specialized project team
- perform code reviews and share results with colleagues
- document the provided resolutions
- analyze root causes of incidents and provide answers
The successful candidate will have:
- ideally 6 years of experience as Java Developer, focusing on J2EE backend implementation, including JDBC, finance sector a plus
- experience knowledge of output management systems, relational database systems (Oracle) as well as unix knowledge (bash, shell scripting)
- in depth understanding of standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by SDLC (code repository handling [SNV, GIT], code inspection [veraCode], penetration-avoidance); able to produce secure, stable and good performing code
- bachelor or master degree or equivalent with a focus in finance or economics
- further knowledge of Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, JMS, Spring, ORM etc not required, but a benefit
- fluent German speaking is required since interaction with Business is essential
