As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a dedicated Software Engineer to work on Big Data Migrations for two products in the bank`s Lending Services Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our client`s digitisation journey. This is a rolling contract, initially running for 6 months, with an extension highly likely.
The key responsibilities include:
- Software Engineering (mainly frontend) for Big Data Migration of two products
- To manage technical connectivity changes in background for Impala, Qlik, Tableau reports with minimal impact to end users
- Debugging and fixing issues on the fly
These are the core skills required for this role:
- Overall 4- 5 years of experience in IT role in enterprise environment
- 2-3 year of experience of Front-end development using SpringBoot, React, or Angular
- Good working experience with Big Data – Hadoop tech stack
- ETL tools & SQL or migration related knowhow is a big plus
- Proven working experience within agile environment
Please note due to COVID interviews would be conducted remotely, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland.
