On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich, Swisslinx is seeking a highly motivated Web Developer with knowledge of Angular 5/6 and UX design for a contract position of 12 months starting in May/June 2019. In this role you would work on a state of the art innovation project in the risk management and portfolio optimisation domain.
In this role you will join an expanding risk management team consisting of Business Analysts, Project Managers, Quants and SW Developers responsible for adapting a risk and portfolio optimization platform to meet next generation requirements.
• You will implement web GUI using the latest technologies and libraries
• Collaborate with other developers, requirements engineers, Project managers, and subject matter experts
• You will work with cutting edge technologies
• Rapid prototyping/build a user experience Lab through which key requirements will be validated, discovered and refined
As the ideal candidate you will bring an outstanding academic background and will possess the following skills and experience:
• Experience as a Web or GUI Developer (5+ years)
• Proven track record in UI Technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, REACT, REST services
• Knowledge with the latest JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular 5/6
• Track record of visualizing beautiful analytics/big data in the banking industry
• Ideally experience in a financial / risk management context (e.g. wealth projections, risk factors)
• Knowledge of UX design with experience in UI rendering in desktop and handheld devices.
• Extensive knowledge of responsive data visualisation user interface design
• Proactive and ability to autonomously organize own work while delivering value for the business
• Able to produce results rapidly and with little supervision
• Experience of Agile practices and processes (e.g. SCRUM, KANBAN)
• Fluency in English
