Swisslinx is currently supporting a trusted Asset Management firm in securing a Head of Legal to join their team in Zurich. This lean team has global reach and offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the success and growth of the company.
Your tasks:
-Management of legal and compliance requirements of investment funds and affiliates
-Draft and negotiate documentation and contracts related to investments, funds and partnership agreements
-Corporate secretary function to the company and its affiliates
-Contribute and support various Swiss focused regulatory topics and FinSA implementation
-Coordination with external lawyers and key internal stakeholders within the Group
-Further develop internal procedures and policies
Your background:
-Masters Degree in Law. Bar admitted would be a plus
-You bring 8 to 10 years’ experience in the asset management industry, ideally within private equity
-Experience with supervisory authority (FINMA) and knowledge of collective investment funds (Cayman)
-Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and German
-Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
The successful candidate will be part of an organization where team work and collaboration are key. The role further offers exposure to a great variety and complexity of legal matters and issues.
Only candidates based in Switzerland will be considered for this role.
