Our client is an international Life Science’s focussed tech business.

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for an hands-on HR Manager to join their newly setup office in Zurich.

Your mission

- Be responsible for the HR function in Switzerland and Europe (UK, Germany and France particularly) whilst reporting to the Head Office
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures complying with local laws, particularly organising onboarding processes and new joiner experience
- Establish and develop strong partnerships with line managers to implement HR best practices and advise on a broad range of HR related topics
- Participate to recruitment efforts, liaise with recruitment agencies and facilitate positive candidate experience during recruitment processes
- Be responsible for the complete on-boarding and off-boarding of new employees in Switzerland and Europe,
- Assist all employees with HR queries (absence, vacation, time management, sick leaves, amongst others)
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Payroll and Finance and actively liaise with service providers in Switzerland and Europe
- Actively contribute to build the company’s culture aligned with the principles of the group

Your background

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland
- University’s Degree or Commercial Education in HR Management
- Good knowledge of the Swiss HR best practices, employment, social security and pension laws, familiarity with other European nations is also needed (UK, Germany, France)
- Fluency in English and German, French fluency is a very helpful attribute
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ideally an experience working for a start-up and the ability to evolve in an ambiguous environment
- An individual contributor, self-sufficient and autonomous, you take ownership and are willing to be the lead for HR in Switzerland and the wider European team
- Experience working with remote teams and different time zones, US based experience is a clear advantage
