IT Business Analyst
About our client
On behalf of our client, one of Switzerland’s leading insurance institutions, Swisslinx is currently looking for an IT Business Analyst.
This is a contracting role lasting through the end of the year and is based in Zurich.
Your tasks and mission
-Analyzing, developing, and verifying new requirements and providing production support
-Proposing concepts, reviewing prototypes, and ensuring solutions are developed in a timely manner
-Preparing and executing test plans, test cases, and coordinating with end users and developers
-Coordinating and preparing documentation required for deployment
Your background
-You are an experienced IT Business Analyst with proven experience in a banking/financial environment (ideally, 5+ years)
-Ideally, you have a University degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Accounting, or Accounting (or a similar field)
-You have experience in requirements documentation, use case diagram development, and data model design
-You have previous working experience in an Agile environment
-You have proven knowledge and experience running SQL queries, advanced Excel skills, and BI tools (ex. Microsoft BI, Tableau, etc.)
-It would be a plus if you can read and understand software coding, such as Java
-You are an exceptional communicator and team player
-You are fluent in English (German would be a distinct plus)
