As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Change Manager.
Our client is looking for a hands-on Change Manager who ideally has experience working in oil, energy or other commodities businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quality and execution of all application changes as demanded by client’s digital evolution.
- Enforce adoption and consolidation of the overall IT Change Management process across all applications development activities.
- Approve changes and define/control post-deployment actions required as defined as an outcome of the release management
process.
- Adapt procedures and practices to new technologies added to the landscape.
- Resolve change dependencies and describe steps required to move changes across the different environments.
- Permanent member of the IT Change Authority Board (CAB)
- Ensure proper regression testing is implemented as part of the change management
- Work closely with the Service desk (first level support) to impart knowledge to improve (support) processes and application
performance.
- Organize the process for application updates and releases (plan the update/release, coordinate with Service Delivery Managers, IT
Business Solutions and Service Desk)
Your background
- Working experience of 5+ years in the field of IT business applications and their change management processes
- Extensive applications support and operations experience in companies with mature disciplines and KPIs
- Experience in change management in an ERP environment
- Change management/CNC for JD Edwards E1 (9.2) is a plus
- Good analytical and technical skills (SQL, basic programming)
- A good perception of user needs and business processes
- Good knowledge on ITSM and ITIL, ServiceNow experience is a plus
- Domain experience in Oil, Energy, or other commodities businesses would be an advantage
- Fluent in English
