On behalf of our client, an established financial institution, Swisslinx are looking for a Linux System Engineer on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the operational maintainenece of Unix and Linux IT infrastructure in a solution driven, team orientated environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established sustainable organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Operating and maintaining central Linux systems and infrastructure.
-Providing level 2 support within existing support organizations
-Responsible for stand-by service
-Responsible for system engineering of UNIX and Linux systems focusing on automation and configuration management
-Developing and deploying OpenShift infrastructure
-Solution design and project participation
Background and Experience:
-Degree in Computer Science, or related field
-Expertise in Unix/Linux systems
-Experience working with virtual environment is advantageous
-Experience with RedHat Open Shift, Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
-Knowledge of automation and configuration management systems
-Responsible, precise working style
-Team driven mentality
-Experience working with multiple stakeholders
-Fluent German
-Fluent English
