IT Project Manager
For our client, a Medical Devices company with offices in Zug, Swisslinx are searching for a highly motivated Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
-Leads and drives change via business transformation and digital transformation
-The programs span across a wide range of both commercial and product changes including setting up a new commercial office in country, customer loyalty program, pricing and incentives, retail strategy and retail facility rollout, commercial launch of software and equipment.
-Coordinate with global PMO team and functional team to ensure effective communications among global teams in North America, Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.
-Drives the program/project teams to get to scope and schedule baselines and tracks against these baselines to ensure successful delivery of the program/project
-Accountable for identifying all supporting projects that roll up to the program, and for creating a detailed product delivery plan that can be executed by the on time by the regions’ technology team
-Identifies and acquires committed resources for the program/projects and gains commitment from these key resources/teams to be accountable for delivering on time and within scope
-Communicates major issues, scope changes, schedule changes, project risks and major decisions that impact the successful delivery of the program
-Communicates regularly with program/project teams, peers, management and upper management to set expectations and remain in alignment with key stakeholders and the broader organization on the status of the program
-Keeps the program/project team organized and on track for effective implementation and delivery and implements process improvements where there are inefficiencies in the implementation process
-Builds capability within the program/project team to accomplish the program/project goals and deliver the product to market on time
-Creative, adaptive and flexible thinking to implement to a committed timeline when plans do not go as expected
What you bring:
-You have proven Project Management experience delivering IT related projects (ex. managing software releases, equipment launches) on time and within budget
-You thrive under pressure and adeptly handle situations that can be chaotic in nature
-Prior working experience in a startup environment could be a plus
-Experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions would be a distinct advantage
-Experience with different methodologies, including Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, etc.
-You have a university degree or equivalent experience preferably in a technical field (ex. Computer science, IT, computer engineering, etc.)
-You are fluent in English
