IT Support Specialist
On behalf of our client, a Biotech company in Zug, Swisslinx are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide overall oversight for the delivery of IT hardware, on boarding of new devices, and first level support across the business.
This will be a 6 month contract role in Zug.
Responsibilities will include:
-First level IT support for troubleshooting, resolving and escalating IT issues across the business
-Management of all internal hardware including devices such as desktops, laptops, mobiles, and peripheral devices
-Participate in asset tracking, inventory management, vendor management, and process improvement activities
-Order and deploy hardware and software and manage vendor contract negotiation
The successful candidate will bring:
-3 years of core IT support experience including hardware and software
-3 years experience of order and inventory management of IT hardware, peripherals and mobility devices
-Strong background of troubleshooting and supporting end users with desktops, laptops, mobile and audio devices, and peripherals
-Previous experience working in the life sciences, pharma, or biotech industry will be highly beneficial
-Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively liaise across all levels of the business
-Fluency in English
-Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
-Exceptional customer service skills
