On behalf of our client, an innovative financial institution, Swisslinx are looking for a Java Developer, for a permanent role based in Biel or Zurich. You will work with Java and DevOps in an agile environment on financial data. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a multidisciplinary and collaborative team at a global international organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Working on the design and development of the full-stack solution
-Efficient delivery of high quality, reviewed and tested code
-Ensuring compliance with challenging non-functional requirements with performance and scalability
-Collaboration with the product owner and team members
-Actively contributing to the agile software development team, (Scrum in a Safe environment)
-Maintaining software in production and on-call responsibilities
Background and Experience:
-Computer Science or similar degree
-3+ years’ of Java experience; Spring MVC/Data/Boot/Security
-Strong understanding of micro-service architecture e.g. JMS, Kafka, Cassandra, Datomic
-Good understanding of API design with GraphQL/REST
-Experience working in an agile environment
-Hardworking and independent mentality
-Team driven
-Collaborative with good communication skills
-Fluent English
-German advantageous, French advantageous
