Join a Leading Biopharma Company as a Senior Process Expert in MSAT!

On behalf of our client, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and nutrition sectors, we are looking for a highly experienced professional to join the MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) Team at their Visp location.

Duration: 1 year

Your Mission:
• Lead cross-functional teams as a process expert for technology transfers, including process design, up-scaling, and implementation at manufacturing scale.
• Act as the key interface between process donors (customers, process development) and operations, ensuring process scalability and manufacturability.
• Secure successful technology transfers by applying formal processes, managing information transfer, process-related risks, and change control.
• Resolve process issues during manufacturing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Execute GMP risk analysis for manufacturing processes.
• Contribute as an MSAT process expert in capital investment projects for manufacturing unit commissioning.
• Implement and oversee the manufacturing process within the plant.
• Directly interact with customers during tech transfers, campaign preparation, execution, and closure, including daily batch status reporting.
• Ensure timely compilation of process deviations, change requests, and campaign reports.
• Compile CMC sections in filing documents and validation reports.
• Develop and implement standardized MSAT procedures and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor scientific and production staff and lead major task forces or troubleshooting teams.
• Evaluate and drive innovative trends within your area of expertise.

Your Background:
• PhD (preferred) or master’s degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or related disciplines.
• Must have extensive experience in end-to- end tech transfer
• Fluency in English required, German is a plus.
• Extensive experience in biopharma manufacturing or process development, preferably in Mammalian Manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of GMP and bioprocess technology.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and project teams.
