Murex Business Analyst

On behalf of our client, a private Swiss bank, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Murex Business Analyst for a 12 month contract in Zurich.

This individual will be a key player in participation in various strategic projects and initiatives in the FX Applications team.

The successful candidate will bring:
-5+ years of experience in the financial industry ideally within investment banking
-Strong understanding of FX trading front to back
-Strong FXD & FXMM product knowledge
-Profound technical & business functional experience of Murex (MX3.1.X)
-Willingness to contribute to both analytical tasks and performing hands-on implementation and testing tasks
-Prior working experience with requirement gathering and user acceptance testing

Further technical skills:
-Good experience on Murex Datamart reporting
-Good knowledge on Murex Limit Controller “MLC”
-Experience on MX test, test automation and processes
-Experience on integration and workflow (i.e. MxMLexchange, data dictionary, inbound & outbound MxML interfaces
-Good knowledge on design & configuration of Pre-trades rules and Post-trade workflow
-Good knowledge on the simulation views
-Good knowledge on FO modules such as simulation functionalities and Livebook
-Database experience: Oracle; Sybase
-Operating system experience on Unix
