On behalf of our client, a private Swiss bank, Swisslinx are looking for a .NET Platform Engineer to define the development environment for a 12 month initial contract in Zurich. This role requires a strong understanding and command of the German language.
This role will involve:
- Engineering of the .NET application platform (technology standards: Classic .NET and .NET Core)
- Provision and operation of the .NET application platform
- Deployment Management of the .NET applications in the pre-production (UAT) and production environment
- Provision and operation of the infrastructure for the development, build and deployment pipeline (CICD) of .NET Enterprise applications (technology standards: Visual Studio, Jenkins, Nexus, Octopus Deploy)
- Technical support of projects in questions on platform-specific and operational aspects
The successful candidate will have:
- Sound knowledge of the .NET platform, classic and .NET Core
- Programming experience with .NET Framework, C # and PowerShell
- Knowing modern and agile process models, delivery and operating processes
- Several years of experience in operating .NET Enterprise application platforms
- Release automation experience
- Knowledge of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry or similar)
- Experience using Visual Studio, Jenkins, Nexus, or Octopus Deploy
- High quality awareness
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Structured and goal-oriented approach
- Resilient, team-oriented and customer-oriented personality
- High level of commitment
- High willingness to learn new things
- ITIL Certification
- Fluency in English and strong comprehension of German
