On behalf of our client, a growing Digital Solutions Provider in Canton Bern, Swisslinx are looking for an Network System Engineer to monitor the functionality and capacity of the network services.
This role will involve:
- Operation of communication networks and monitoring of the network services
- Locate, analyze, and troubleshoot the network to minimize malfunctions and increase quality
- Support and troubleshoot network issues
- Manage access permissions, identifiers, addresses and directories
- Perform performance and capacity analysis to monitor the network capacity
- Ensure documentation and provide availability statistics
The successful candidate will have:
- Professional experience as a Network Engineer in a Data Center or Service Provider environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience in routing (OSPF, MP-GCP, MPLS)
- Previous experience or knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or Huawei will be highly beneficial
- Computer Science degree
- Excellent problem solving skills and commitment to customers
- Fluency in German
