For our established banking client, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated OpenLink Findur Business Analyst with solid Openlink experience for a challenging rolling contract role as a Business Analyst or Systems Developer in Basel, Switzerland.
Initially the contract would be for 9 months with potential to run up to five years and start in June 2019.
As OpenLink Business Analyst, you will support a cross company innovation program with the aim of improving processes across the bank. You will support the business area in implementing and maintaining business processes, users and departmental business applications, with a particular focus on the Basel office.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Support the Banking Department in designing, implementing, testing and maintaining business user and departmental business solutions.
• Analyse, define and document business processes and maintain operating procedures, including training of staff.
• Provide day-to-day support of the Findur application to all business users as part of a team with production support duties during the business day, and on-call service at night for the end-of-day processes.
• Work with the Front Office and other business stakeholders, software development team and BA colleagues to assess, shape and deliver tactical and/or strategic developments and business change as well as small business change and BAU tasks
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
• University degree in information technology or computer science
• At least three years’ experience in the financial services industry and a good knowledge of financial instruments
• Proven experience as a business analyst Business Analyst with strong knowledge financial instruments and Banking Business
• Experience carrying out process engineering around OpenLink Findur
• Experience with Openlink Managers including: Trading Manager, Operations Manager, Services Manager, Reference Manager, Admin Manager, APM, Connex, Settlement/BO Desktop
• Experience in the full development life cycle of IT systems
• Experience in the writing of business and technical specs
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• Outstanding problem solving skills and analytical approach
• Fluency in English (oral and written) – additional languages a plus
