The role will be a combination of supporting and developing the existing vendor commodities system used within the Zug Commodities Trading organisation. There is a varied mix of project based work and development, with a wide-reaching impact to be made.
About our client
Our client is one of the leading investment banks. On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is currently looking for an Openlink RightAngle Developer for a permanent opportunity based in Zug.
Key Competencies
- Experience of developing in C# for a Financial or Commodities Institution, preferably with the client of the system being a Commodities Trading desk.
- Worked with a team of developers to configure, customize, and deploy the OpenLink RightAngle application to various business clients in the oil and gas industry
- Assumed hands-on project implementation duties (design, coding, testing) in all phases of the RightAngle implementation
- Provided technology advice, design, analysis, custom code development, and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, configuration, testing, and production support of the RightAngle solution for the client’s business needs
- Participated in and supported the architectural design decisions regarding interfaces between the RightAngle application and other systems
- Worked with the client to design and create custom RightAngle reports and scripts to best serve their business needs
- Gathered and documented technical requirements, code specifications, test plans/results, deployment instructions, troubleshooting guidance and all other deliverables required by the project
Your background
-In depth experience with OpenLink’s RightAngle ETRM software (2+ years) or similar product
- Experience in Energy, Trading, and Risk Management (ETRM) application support (2+ years)
- Experience in Commodity, Trading, and Risk Management (CTRM) application support (1+ years)
- Strong familiarity with the .NET framework in both Visual Basic and Visual C# (4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8)
- Strong familiarity with SQL Server database structure
- Strong familiarity with XML and related Web Service Applications
- Strong familiarity with Windows 10
- Strong familiarity with multiple versions of Windows Servers including 2008, 2012, 2016
