For our client, an international bank based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated PMO Analyst with strong financial management experience to help consolidate and track our client’s software and vendor relationships.

This is a 6 month rolling contract starting in August/September with a strong chance of renewal, located in Zurich.

As the successful candidate you will join a highly motivated business management team interfacing with departments in software management, finance and IT spread across the globe.

Your responsibilities will mainly focus on financial management and include the following:

• Financial management globally:
• Monthly month-end review and preparation of vendor purchase orders
• Monthly accrual review and submission
• Monthly re-class review and submission
• Investigation and follow-up of aged commitments
• Monthly review and preparation of financial forecast
• Investigation of financial variances (forecast vs. actuals)

• Sourcing management globally:
• Review managed service, managed outcome and software sourcing requests as Quality Controller
• Manage software procurement/extensions with respective stakeholders (hiring managers, architecture and production support)
• Coordinate engagement renewals/new hires in internal procurement tool
• Inventory of all third-party contractual commitments

• Vendor Management, specifically support on topics such as Vendor Management Governance, Outsourcing Management and Steering Sourcing Process)

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Experience in a business management function (e.g. PMO, Business Manager, Analyst) as well as of cost Controlling and forecasting (accruals, deferrals, etc.) knowhow
• Knowledge of contract controlling & software licence management
• Excel expertise and strong Microsoft SharePoint knowhow
• Essbase knowledge, as well as with Smartview
• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Banking experience nice to have
• Communication skills written and verbal in English
