Procurement Specialist

About our client:
Our client is one of the international Lifesciences companies based in Basel.
On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist on a temporary basis, who is willing to work closely with third parties to support procurement projects. This is a great opportunity to bring your proven knowledge and expertise to a dynamic working environment.

Your mission:
- Identify profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
- Actively manage customer expectations while applying company standards to the procurement
- Liaise with third parties to manage the requirements and support procurement plans and budgets
- Ensure risks are adequately managed by performing risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Lead negotiations with external vendors in regards to legal and commercial contract terms
- Identify and report key metrics to increase overall cost efficiencies

Your background:
- Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance, Administration or Economy
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Marketing is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- You are highly analytical
- You have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English is a must, German is a plus
