On behalf of one of our clients, a Swiss provider of banking solutions, Swisslinx is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Consultant to support and coach the team on regulatory parameters and developments that can have an impact on the current business and products. As a Consultant you would look into existing processes and products and develop requirements and frameworks based in banking regulations and industry best practice.
This is a temporary, part-time position (50-60% capacity) with an immediate start and a duration of 6 months. There is a possibility for a subsequent extension or permanent position.
Your responsibilities:
• Act as main point of contact for regulatory matters, assessing the impact of regulatory changes on banking products and establishing a framework for product and service compliance
• Track and evaluate regulatory developments related to operational risks
• Ensure timely resolution of identified risks, working closely with responsible parties and measuring performance through KPIs
• Manage monthly reporting processes, delivering insights to relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate an annual external review to assess risk management practices
• Identify new requirements from market demand, customer needs, risk mitigation, and regulatory obligations
• Work closely with management on presentations, consulting, and escalations
Your profile:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk & compliance within financial services
• Prior experience in establishing risk and compliance group structures, assess existing processes and develop best practice solutions
• Fluent in German (C1), proficient in English
• Familiarity with risk & compliance management tools is considered an advantage
