On behalf of our client, a Swiss bank, Swisslinx are looking for a Security Cloud Engineer. The role will primarily focus on cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), but may also entail some support of traditional “on premises” systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the secure delivery of the cloud solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
• Provide security engineering support to cloud deliverables (e.g. ensuring logging and monitoring is implemented correctly, sound identity and access management, and configuration monitoring / management);
• Assist if/as required with support and maintenance of on premises security systems;
• Assist if/as required with security engineering support of the container environment (OpenShift);
• Contribute to a well-informed cloud strategy and integration plan;
• Develop and document cloud patterns, guidelines and guardrails cloud technologies;
• Operationalise solutions from proof-of-concept through production using infrastructure automation and configuration management as appropriate;
• Engage in research and development towards innovative architecture and technical solutions that will provide business benefit;
• Deploy and troubleshoot cloud technologies;
• Provide integration skills and experience to ensure the interoperability of new and existing systems
The successful candidate will bring:
• Motivated and ability to work independently and as a team player
• Organised, details oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience designing, implementing and operating cloud native systems and services including open source and commercial third-party solutions
• Deep understanding of security tools in Azure platform
• Proficient in PowerShell and other automation languages such as Python
• Ability to configure and manage Linux servers
• Strong knowledge of containers, container orchestration and Kubernetes ecosystem
