For one of our long-standing clients in the financial services industry, Swisslinx is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to be part of an international team.
Your mission:
-Provide ongoing legal assistance to the Business on a variety of legal matters in close collaboration with the team in Switzerland and other branches
-Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various agreements
-Participation on local and global projects with regards new legal and regulatory requirements
-Advice the business in the context of corporate governance, trade register, regulatory updates or similar queries
-Provide day-to-day ad hoc legal advice and guidance in relation to clients’ general questions and issues
-Summarize and report on new legal requirements and changes to existing Swiss laws and regulations
Your background:
-Masters in Law from a Swiss University (Swiss Bar would be an advantage)
-German mother tongue and fluency in English, French would be a plus
-Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate legal experience in a Swiss Bank
-Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
-Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
The successful candidate will be part of a large international organization where team work and collaboration are key. The role further offers exposure to a great variety and complexity of legal matters and issues.
