System Engineer – Trading and Risk
On behalf of our client, an international and reputable established trading company, Swisslinx are currently looking for a System Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Geneva. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support application for development and business users.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and support application for development and business users
- Perform configuration and maintenance of middleware systems
- Work closely with team members to achieve continuous delivery solutions
- Configure application, database and web servers 3rd party software
- Log and prioritize tickets
- Monitor applications activities and report issues
Skills:
- Strong experiencer with Linux and Windows Operating systems
- Programming skills using Java or .NET or any programming language
- Deployment experience with DevOps tools (Git, Artifactory, Docker)
- Understanding of databases and analysing SQL scripts
- Experience of middleware (Tibco, RabbitMq, Solace, IBM Websphere)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Flexible to work in different time zones as per required
