As part of the modernization of the group finance platform we are looking for an experienced and proficient web developer. The candidate will be working in a cross functional team of software engineers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. The small teams follow an agile working style and are adopting develops best practices.

About our client

Our client is one of the leading insurance companies in Switzerland.
On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Web Developer.
This is a contracting role until end of June 2020 initially based in Zurich.

Your mission

- support the full life-cycle of new system development from early brainstorming, prototyping, implementation, to optimization during business as usual.
- you have a good sense of aesthetics (graphical design) to make sure our front ends look good and work optimal from a usability perspective.
- you feel comfortable working with both business subject matter experts as well as software engineers
- demonstrate proactive approach in building intuitive, clean and good looking web UIs ensures efficient development of new systems.

Your background

- CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript
- Extensive knowledge of Angular 2+. Experience with component-based frameworks.
- rxjs, bootstrap, (ngrx is a plus)
- automated testing (unit, e2e)
- Proficient in English

Nice to have

- Previous exposure to Finance or Accounting is a plus
