Job description

As a member of the QC Project Lead team at the Visp site, you will serve as the single point of contact for Quality Control (QC) within cross-functional project teams—ensuring strategic alignment and close collaboration with QA, MSAT, engineering, and production.

You’ll take a proactive, communicative role in driving QC priorities, representing QC interests to internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating analytical activities across a complex matrix organization.

This is a highly interactive role, requiring autonomy, strong customer orientation, and excellent planning and coordination skills.

Requirements

  • Act as the main QC representative in cross-functional teams and serve as the interface with QA, OPS, MSAT, and engineering
  • Build and maintain relationships with external customers and internal labs
  • Support planning and execution of production campaigns
  • Handle GMP-related topics including deviations and change requests
  • Prepare for and participate in audits and authority inspections
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and schedule QC activities independently
  • Track and control QC project costs

Competences

  • Master’s or PhD in biology, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, or a related natural science
  • 3–5 years of experience, ideally in a GMP environment and Quality Control
  • Strong communication and coordination skills; confident working with external customers and interdisciplinary teams
  • Solid MS Office skills; knowledge of Documentum, LIMS, or Trackwise is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, highly organized, and proactive
