As one of the principle suppliers for our private banking client, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Test Manager / Business Analyst to support the development and rollout of a strategic in-house compliance analytics platform.

This is a contract role starting ASAP until 31.10.2026 with strong chance of extension. Workplace is in Zurich (2 days home office).
The role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders and data-centric delivery teams, ensuring that regulatory and compliance-related reporting requirements are accurately translated into robust, scalable solutions.
The position plays a critical role in harmonizing data definitions across locations, managing end-to-end testing activities, and ensuring high-quality delivery of compliance, AML, KYC, and monitoring-related metrics.
Requirements
As part of an international and dynamic team, your responsibilities will include:
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, compliance teams, and technical/data teams
- Gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements
- Translate compliance and financial crime requirements into functional specifications and detailed test scenarios
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies covering unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end testing activities within Agile delivery environments
- Facilitate sprint planning, test reviews, demos, and acceptance testing sessions
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
- Ensure consistency and harmonization of data definitions across reporting solutions
- Validate reporting outputs and ensure data integrity across systems
- Support deployment activities, post-release validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute across the full reporting lifecycle: requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, development support, testing, go-live, and stabilization

Compensation benefits
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of combined experience as a Test Manager and Business Analyst
- Experience within financial services, banking, or regulated environments
- Exposure to regulatory, compliance, financial crime, AML, KYC, or risk reporting projects
- Hands-on experience managing testing activities in Agile environments
- Strong experience using Jira (test case management, defect tracking, sprint monitoring)
- Experience working on data-intensive or analytics-driven projects
- Solid understanding of relational databases (preferably Oracle)
- Ability to write and validate SQL queries
- Experience validating outputs in visualization/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience across the full reporting and delivery lifecycle
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); German beneficial
