Application Engineer - Devops
On behalf of our client, a leading private bank, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Application Engineer to support the ongoing development of the smart banking initiatives.
This is a permanent role and will be based at the office in Liechtenstein.
Responsibilities will include:
-Implementation and further development of release management tool
-Support the setup of a highly automated instance provision (development, test, integration, production)
-Completion of various service tasks such as software installations
-Operation and monitoring in the area of Smart Banking and DevOps tool landscape
-Support service for incidents and production problems
-Interface to various IT departments such as development (DevOps), database administrators, Linux specialists, etc.
-Development and integration of a container platform for the Avaloq Front Platform and internal tools
-Project support
The successful candidate will bring:
-Completed Computer Science Education
-Extensive experience as an Engineer across Linux, application server (JBoss) and databases (Oracle), client server based systems
-Programming knowledge in scripting and Java
-Previous experience using Docker and container platforms
-Ability to work in a team, quick comprehension and willingness to perform assignments outside of block times
-Strong banking industry experience
-Systematic, structured and independent way of working
-Fluency in German and English
