Are you ready to dive into the heart of banking innovation? Our client in the banking industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Application Engineer Front Arena OMS to join their team and contribute to the evolution of their Order Management System (OMS). This is your chance to be part of a groundbreaking project that shapes the future of securities trading!
Start Date: 01.06.2024
End Date (expected): 31.05.2025
Expected Workload: 80 - 100%
Main Tasks:
- Participate in the OMS Further Development Project, engaging in:
- Analyzing and validating requirements for the Order Management System
- Designing and implementing modules and interfaces for the securities order management system
- Integrating, customizing, and managing the lifecycle of existing OMS components (Front Arena)
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, external partners, and exchanges & brokers
- Taking on support shifts for the order management system
Requirements:
- Experience in developing and integrating applications and interfaces
- Knowledge and interest in securities trading / Equity & Fixed-Income Trading
- Quick understanding of complex relationships and dependencies
- Analytical thinking and a keen eye for quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, coupled with independence and resilience
- Proficiency in German (C1) and English
- Several years of hands-on experience with Front Arena (AIMS, AMAS, AFG, OMNI, TNP)
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science
- Familiarity with the FIX protocol
- Proficiency in working with Windows Server & Cluster, MSSQL, PowerShell
- Previous experience as a software developer with Java and a plus if familiar with Python
- Knowledge of Linux and ELK Stack are advantageous
- Language proficiency: Negotiation level in both German and English
