Job description
- Support the implementation of data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
- Collaborate with data stewards, business stakeholders and technical teams to address data-related challenges.
- Identify data quality gaps, recommend remediation measures and document progress.
- Analyse data to uncover trends, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports and dashboards that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Coordinate initiatives including data clean-up activities, process reviews and tool rollouts.
- Document data processes, workflows and good practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to management reporting and identify potential data management risks.
- Apply digital tools and automation techniques to enhance data governance and quality practices.
- Maintain awareness of relevant technologies, external standards and industry developments.
Requirements
Essential
- Three to five years’ experience in data management, data governance, data analytics or a closely related field.
- Practical knowledge of data management frameworks, master data management and data quality standards.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, strategic-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written English, with the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Have
- Experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Previous experience as a data owner, data steward or management consultant on significant data engagements.
- A recognised professional certification in data governance or data management.

Please note interviews would be conducted via video call (max two rounds), however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
