You will ensure that the Swiss entity meets all applicable obligations.
This is a hands-on role requiring active involvement in tax compliance, statutory reporting, and selected accounting activities. It is well suited to someone with strong expertise in Swiss tax and statutory requirements who can bridge global processes with local compliance needs.
As the sole finance representative in Switzerland, this role requires a high level of autonomy and comfort working independently in a small, growing local setup.

- Act as the primary finance contact for the Swiss entity
- Lead and coordinate Swiss tax compliance and statutory obligations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and employer-related taxes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Swiss laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the global finance team on general ledger activities, including month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support global financial reporting by providing Swiss-specific inputs and documentation
- Prepare, review, and coordinate Swiss tax filings and statutory reporting (e.g. VAT returns, corporate income tax filings) in collaboration with external advisors
- Manage communication and filings with Swiss tax authorities and external partners
- Act as the local coordinator for statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Process local vendor invoices and intercompany transactions in line with company policies
- Serve as the key liaison between Swiss operations and global finance teams (U.S. and APAC)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Swiss certified accountant (e.g. dipl. Experte in Rechnungslegung und Controlling) or equivalent (ACCA, CPA) preferred
- 6–8+ years of experience in accounting and tax, with a strong focus on Swiss tax compliance and statutory reporting
- Experience working within or alongside international finance teams
- Strong knowledge of Swiss tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax) and Swiss GAAP
- Familiarity with US GAAP is an advantage
- Experience in SAP would be a plus
- Fluent in English & German; Mandarin would be a plus
- CH/EU national, or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
